BA (Hons) Graphic Design
The BA (Hons) Graphic Design course degree awarded by UCA introduces you to the many exciting areas of graphic design – from branding, typography and UI/UX design to print media and digital publishing. You’ll put your learning into practice with challenging live projects, competitions, and extra-curricular industry placements. By the time you become a Graphic Design graduate, you’ll be a design expert in your specialist field with impressive industry experience. We’ll coach you to mix old and new technologies and to experiment with confidence, give you a comprehensive foundation of graphic and UX design skills, and provide opportunities to fully explore your craft on exciting live briefs with partner organizations of all sizes.
ENTRY CRITERIA
▼Undergraduate Entry Requirements:
Pakistan:
• Associate Degree from a recognized Pakistani university with 55% or GPA 2.5
• Transcript showing successful completion of 2–3 years of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized Pakistani university with 55% or GPA 2.5
Foundation:
• HSSC/Intermediate with 60% or 3/5 (12 years of completed school study)
India:
• Indian HSC/Standard XII with 60% or higher (all boards including CBSE & CISCE)
• Completion of Year 1 of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized Indian university
Foundation:
• Indian HSC/Standard XII with 50% or higher (all boards including CBSE & CISCE)
Philippines:
• Associates Degree from a recognised Philippine university with B, GPA 2.0/5.0 (1 is the highest mark) or GPA 3.0/4.0
• A transcript showing successful completion of two years of Bachelor's degree from a recognised Philippine university with B, GPA 2.0/5.0 (1 is the highest mark), or GPA 3.0/4.0
Foundation:
• Philippine High School Diploma with 80% or better
